Hey Dr, does the neck finish feels the same as BFR but satin instead of gloss

Well, Yes and No, it actually feels more like the standard oiled/wax blend necks but not completely, I guess it's the flat matte finish. It certainly doesn't feel like the glossy BFR necks.

They do, just not Balls.
And the black wears off easily and the strings sound pretty dull

Yeah, I agree with the strings. I've used DR coated black strings before and after 1 gig, the black wore off mainly were I pick. a few days later, the coating near the first few frets started to fall off.
