I just picked up my first EBMM guitar, a 2013 Armada. The unusual look of the guitar is what attracted me to it. It’s different, but not in an over the top way. It has a postmodern retro vibe that I like.
For a guitar that's going on five years old, it's in like new condition. It’s a very comfortable guitar to play. It has excellent balance both physically and sound wise. For a 24.75“ scale, the neck is wider than usual, much like my Fender Elite necks. I like that because there’s a little more room between each string for my fat fingers.
The PUPs sound great in all three positions, I especially like the middle position. The humbuckers have a bit more low end than a typical PAF but are still clear and not muddy.
