Photos taken with its twin- a JP12 Bali Blue (fitting, since I have identical twin girls). Not sure if pics really do the flame on the back of the neck justice.

Honestly…. just being honest…. not trying to be overly critical or drama queen… Ive seen better flame necks, and Ive seen better quilt jobs on the PDN run…. but it is still pretty darn good. Surprised by how much green is in there… I must have gotten an Atlantic Ocean Neptune dip… :rolleyes:

the quilt is looking great to me.
about the neck: it is, like it is....it's natural wood grain!
the second Y2D i had to choose from have had an awesome flame neck which came out really dark roasted - awesome!!!
the neck on mine has less flame and looks like it was only half the time in the "roasting-machine" ;)
(i decided by the look of the top)

Yep, my biggest fans. Funny... When I was 18, I wished-- with all of my might-- to be surrounded by beautiful women. I got my wish.... Not exactly what I had in mind. Be careful what you wish for.

I must admit publicly... And probably apologize to the EBMM crew... That my original comments about "not the best flame maple.... not the best top" were a bit of buyer's remorse (which I usually suffer from when I spend thousands on anything). The more I play this guitar and marvel at its beauty, the more I realize that my money went to a good place.

I'm not going to edit my first post because I own what I say, but I was wrong to post that.

This guitar is amazing, and everything I expected it to be.
