Thanks both to EBMM and to Pete DuBaldo for this.
The guitar exceeds expectations. I expected a brighter, punchier version of the rosewood ASS. That's not all I got. This thing is super light. It's punchy for sure, but it's brighter than I could have possibly imagined. It even brightened up my ultra-dark Mesa F-30 on clean tones. It's great on dirty tones, of course, but man, the cleans have so much chime to them. It's amazing. They're so bright too that I turned down the tone, which I usually run wide open, because I usually can't get them bright enough and warm enough--if that makes any sense. This thing hits the low end really nicely, and it's a tight low end--tighter than I expected. It's got great midrange as well. Actually, the tone is really well-balanced, but it gives me that extra brightness. It's really got great clarity, I think. So, that's what I have learned about the way this thing sounds in the half-hour or so that I messed around with it. This thing is amazing!
