Hi all! I finally got around to posting pictures of my new Axis.

It was a bit bitter sweet when it arrived. Someone tightened the bridge down too much and then the bar was depressed and it gouged into the wood. :( It's not really bad, but bad enough considering I paid through the teeth to get this guitar. I live in Canada and had to have a third party purchaser get it too me. :(

Regardless I've heard of these shops having a lot of shop wear and this one was no exception, but it's beautiful and I love it!

Congrats, it's a little tough getting these when we live in Canada. I personally made a weekend out of it. I ordered them and then when they came in I drove down and picked them up.

That is a bummer. I actually did that exact same thing to my AXIS. Wish EBMM would find a fix for that...

Anyway, it's still a beautiful axe! Congrats!

That's a beauty and the neck looks nice too. I don't know why we don't see more red love here. I had a red Axis once and it was gorgeous.

I know, I realized my first love was the Red EVH. I'm sticking with red! Neck is quite nice on it too!

Can you elaborate more on what happened with the bar hitting the body? It would have had to be pressed all the way down in the case, but I didn't think the case could put that much pressure on it?

It's not the bar that touches. The base of the bridge was right tight against the body. When whomever pressed down on the bar the front corner of High E side of the bridge dug into the body. Before I did anything when I got it I raised the bridge screw posts to lift the bride up some and should be even higher than I have it right now...

Thanks all,
the mark isn't bad. I'm fairly over it... With a top and color like that how can you be upset?
