The Cutlass peaked my interest as soon as it came out, but I don't buy new guitars. I just thought this one look great, I love the EBMM guitars and for some time i've been looking at getting one. So I was up at Chicago Music Exchanged last weekend. It was super busy on Saturday and I just wanted to play everything I could get my hands on. During my search I found an American Standard Tele that I thought I was in love with and OMW back to the rack I see this Cutlass and instantly went for it. I sat on couch and played it because the rooms were all full but it got to be late so I put everything back and headed out. Sunday I ventured back to CME because I going to buy that Tele, I pull the Tele off the rack and the Cutlass and headed to a room to try a few amps out. I played those two guitars back and fourth until my ears were finally tired. I went out sat on a couch and picked them apart one feature at a time. Tele had a cheap bridge and needed to be replaced, pickups were OK but would probably go, set up needed to be tweaked a bit and to my surprise not having that forearm bevel kind of bugged me. The Cutlass, didn't need a thing, everything was spot on and it has the best neck i've ever played. It did not take long and when I inquired about it, I was made an offer I could not refuse.

Sorry for the long post but EBMM has hit a home run with this guitar IMHO.

Good choice! I really like what EBMM have done with the Cutlass. Id tell you why I think they're great, but this guy below did a review and covers ALL of what I thought about them when I played a white one at my local GC:

Still loving it, I've own a lot of Strats and never completely bonded with it. But this neck is amazing, the only change i'm join got make is add a bass plate to the bridge pickup for a little more tone. The bridge pickup, I've been running the tone at 8 when on the bridge so I think i'm on the right track with the bass plate. The pickups are so good in this guitar its hard to justify swapping them out.
