I made the exact same post on the Petrucci Forums but I couldn't resist not showing you my new beauty. So, here it is.

I bought this used at an excellent condition. Aside from being my first Petrucci guitar it is also my first 7-string and I'm thrilled! It is just unbelievable! I love it already! The pics below don't do it justice.

So, let's cut to the chase. I present you the Petrucci JP7 Blue Dawn 2007 Limited Edition:

I had a Blue Dawn for a while. I'm glad you decided to take photos without a flash, because that's when this finish really looks best in photos. :)

Thank you all!

It looks awesome! I'm sure it plays a beautifuly as it looks. :)
Feels like a day you'd turn your amp to 11. ;p

It does play like a dream. I'm still kind of getting used to the 7-string thing since it's my first but the neck is just so easy to play.

I used natural sunlight to get the shots with my iPhone 4S. I think it captures the color pretty well but it looks even better in person.

Blue Dawn is probably my favorite EBMM finish. I would love to have that exact guitar. Nice score!

Hey guys,

the first two (low b-e) strings seem to be buzzing so I figured I'd adjust the truss rod (the wheel below the 24th fret right?). How much strength do I have to apply to turn it? It seems to require a lot of tension and I'm scared to break anything...

I've found the truss wheels to be a little tight sometimes, but as long as you're not using something like a size one hex key, you should be just fine to give it a fine little pull till it goes.
I'd take it you're relieving the neck a bit? So you'd be turning left, towards the bass strings.
I usually check my neck after a big storm, winter/summer, and every couple string changes just to keep things exactly where I want them, so I never need anything more than a 1/4 turn.

I'm using the one from my previous guitar which had locking nuts (not sure what size that is) and it fits in the truss rod but it certainly requires more than a "little pull". I'll just leave it that way :p

I don't know exactly where I got it from, but I use this little steel bar that fits perfectly in the wheel. It's long enough to give a little extra torque to adjust the wheel if it's a little tight.
