My first EBMM guitar.. grabbed one of those pink axis tributes from Robbie @ GC. Hope to play it more this weekend before I give a full review. My initial thoughts: The neck isn't quite as figured as I'd hoped, and there's a few blems where the paint bleeds over the binding, but it still a beautiful guitar. the top is pretty nice, looks like pink satin sheets. very resonant , vibrates heavily when strumming a chord. comfy neck carve and frets are immaculate.

That is phenomenal !!! Trust me that neck is exceptionally figured, not many necks out in the world that beat these, you landed an all around specimen.

Congrats!

Everyones loving the pink ones....maybe bring that colour back to regular production? Next year possibly, don't want it to interfere with the Tributes of course.

I mean the fretboard doesn't havemuch figuring. But its unique looking in that there is cluster of figuring by frets 1-5 and not much anywhere else. Like a fingerprint!

Congrats Mario, that is simply wicked! Unlike most of the guys here I know what you have up on your walls, and I dont think you could pick out a bad looking ax if I blind folded you and let you grab the first guitar you touched in a GC lol. Are you out of retirement yet and back to gigging?

ha thanks straycat. Im still retired... Although im starting to get the itch to play live again. almost done with my thesis so perhaps I'll start a new band when time is right. Kinda feel i have to.. Having these guitars sitting idle off the stage seems like a waste!
