I haven't touched my other electric guitars since I got the Reflex. I love this guitar! I've been playing a Travis Bean and a Strat my whole life so I wasn't sure this would create the tones that I'm used to. I like it big, clean and chimey with lots of sustain. Well let's see if I can put it in words. What I'm loving :
Weight: 7.2lbs - my TB is 10.5# so yay!
Ergonomics : body and arm bevels fit like a glove.
Tone: like a cross between a Steinway and a Stradivarius.
Sustain: I could play a note, lay it down, go get a beer, pour it in a glass, let the head settle, take a sip, and sit back and listen for a minute. OK, maybe a little exaggerated but you get the idea.
Playing this instrument is like driving a luxury car after being used to a Subaru. Like shaped skis vs old skinny boards. Like riding a custom bike that just transfers every movement efficiently.
If only the top didn't suck so bad.
