new guitar days are so wonderful!
you guys have seen my Y2D Solar Flare thread already, but no, this is not a Solar Flare.....(SF has to wait for me for a few month or so).
last week, just the day before i got my hands on the Solar Flare, i stumbled across this babe here:

BFR badge, ebony fretboard.....hmmmmm very very nice, and this tiny gold flakes all over the guitar...well done boys and girls at EBMM!

as everybody would expect, it´s a Y2D again. ;)

WTF Joe, this is a very nice piece you have here. I remember the days when your EVH was you number 1 I guess you have retired it by now as all the love goes to the Y2D :)

congrats!

i still love my EVH, but you´re right, it stays in its case a lot of time. i would love to have more EVHs but for the price of a EVH you can get two to three used Y2Ds. :)
and of course i felt in love with this guitars.

Wow, that's crazy! Were did you find that one? Black sugar/roasted maple is so awesome, congrats. About the the neck: just accept it as different and love it for that! My bs/rm AL HH is still my favourite.

I always wondered with those unicolor Y2D's: there still is a figured maple top underneath right? So does EBMM chose the less figured tops for these or is it just random?

Ha! Nice price given European standards. I shouldn't have looked at the sold items list though. I totally missed that Autumn Redrise piezo Luke that sold. Must be a rare bird. Sorry for the hijack ;)

jup, for us europeans, it´s a good price. on the other hand, the Y2Ds aren´t that expensive over here.
it´s an underrated guitar by the public - just my opinion.
