NGD (inbound) - Axis SS Matcha Flame

I really blame @click track for this since he posted the pics of the new charcoal Axis But I've been lusting after some of the new Axis colors and reached out to my Sweetwater rep last night to see if they had a Matcha flame coming in soon. They had one that hadn't made it to the website yet...he sent me a preview of the web page with pics and that was all she wrote.

Axis Sport and Axis SS hardtail are now for sale to help pay for this.

Yeah. This batch of colors had me hooked from the start. I like all of them, especially the Ollalieberry and Matcha...but all of the new colors this time are excellent.

It got here FAST. Arrived this morning while I was out so I just opened her up. The gig bag was definitely not quite what I expected. That is one THICK bag. I don't hate it, but I wish they'd just gone with something like PRS does for Silver Skys or branded the Vertigo or Classic bags, but oh well. Not a huge deal. Sweetwater put that box inside a box so the box I got was like 5'4" tall. Crazy.

It's more beautiful in person...but it seems hard to photograph. The grain pattern almost makes the pics look blurry to me. (Though that could be my old and increasingly non-functioning eyes.) I think I'm going to replace the knobs and switch tip with black, but other than that, absolutely gorgeous. I do find that I love the roasted maple necks more and more.

Awesome, love it tried a couple times to snag one but was always gone before I made the move., looks great. Yea I am not liking the Mono bags more and more, congrats.

Yea definitely wish there was a case option, I picked up a different Axis SS that I have not post yet and love the case it came in.

We wound up with the Matcha that EBMM used for promo photos for this color, it's also a looker! I drool over it every day that it stays in the shop.

Changed out the knobs on this one with ones I happened across on Amazon...I like how it turned out!
