Put an order way back in February, and have been patiently awaiting the delivery of this thing. Getting the call at work and not being able to leave right away was extremely difficult to say the least.

Anyway, this is my first EBMM, and I'm absolutely blown away. It just feels right to play it, and to top it off it looks gorgeous...quite a marvel to look at. Thanks BP! Fine instrument, indeed!

Without further ado, I present you my first Music Man:

The JP15 is a real head turner. Yours is great example!
As long as it took for it to arrive, it pales in comparison to how long you waited to get a MM! Finally, lol.

It is a solid specimen, for sure. I was very very happy when I opened the case for the first time.

You are too right - took way too long to finally get on the MM train!

Thanks man, I hadn't seen it so clearly until you pointed it out...now I can't stop seeing a Dunlop Jazz III pick instead haha

Yea...was a student for most of that period, so just never wanted to spend the money on it. Now that I'm working and I have a stable job, I figured it was time. Truth be told I could have probably gotten one 2-3 years ago now, but I was waiting for the right time, and also the right model. When I saw the JP15 at NAMM I knew that was it, and it was time! :)

And the million dollar question is - how do you like the neck on that bad boy? :)

Kevin

Love it. Feels so smooth and looks so classy. Best guitar these 2 hands have ever held!

Wonderful looking guitar and a real player, I bet.

Congrats.

It sure is! Thanks again!

My million +1 dollar question is, how is the action on the high E string? Any slippage off the edge of the board on the higher frets? The physical tolerances look extremely tight from your pics, but it might just be the camera angles. Reason I ask is that issue has affected me too recently.

Just curious given the recent number of other users posting about this on the forums. Like many others, I own multiple JPs, but I only have this issue on one of them.

Otherwise, gorgeous finish on that one! Those necks are stunning.

Hahaha...I always knew I had to wait for the right one. This one screamed "I"M IT!" I'm loving them too! :)

Ok so I took a closer look, and it's mainly the camera angle. The high E does seem to have less tolerance than the low E, but thus far it hasn't bothered me while playing. If it stays as is I'll leave it be, otherwise I'll try that method that's been posted around here a few times.
