Just got my JP7 in from sweetwater, wow I'm in love already. The silver sparkle is awesome in person and its really light compared to my JP12. First impressions on tone are that its also alot punchier and snappier. It has its own character and I'll have to mess around with the eq a bit, but so far its great!

Ill get some pics with my S4 camera as soon as the battery charges LOL

That finish reminds of the 7 string guitar that John used to play during 2002-2006. I always wanted that guitar and almost went for a JP13-7 (since it is very similar) but ended up getting a Majesty-7 Polar Noir.

So i've been playing the heck out of this and I love it even more each time. Found a great rhythm setting on my 6505 using the lead channel and have really been enjoying the playability of it. The basswood really has a "bellowing" sound for lack of a better word. The sustain is pretty ridiculous as well, but you expect that from an EBMM.

Its my first 7 stringer but I've found it very easy to get comfortable with, maybe even more so than 6 strings now. Anyway, I'm working on some Scar Symmetry and I'll try to get some recordings up soon. I'm about 50% finished learning the rhythm to Kaleidoscopic God (brutal song btw) and will get some clips up asap. Its also sparked creativity in my own writing, maybe I'll share some of that too.

Just want to shout out to Zach Neels from Sweetwater for hooking me up with this beauty, thanks a lot man. Also want to thank EBMM for making such a great instrument, its really inspiration to play even for an amateur like myself.

That's one beautiful guitar. IMO, the 1st JP design is the best one... the smaller body and the right arm contour are wonderfully ergonomic.

Thanks, Its really comfortable to play. Heres a quick clip I recorded while trying to find a decent recording tone. I'm using my 6505 preamp into a Toneport GX and using the POD farms poweramp and cab sims. I appreciate any comments or criticisms as I could use any advice for a better tone since im a noob at this stuff lol.
