After posting my BFR, I remembered that I wanted to post some pics of the Axis I picked up a couple weeks ago. For the record, I just sold my USA EVH Wolfgang because this was the better guitar!

I don't have the JPX just yet, it arrives Tuesday. I have owned one in the past though. The BFR, in my opinion, sounds a bit warmer to me than the Axis. Not sure which bridge pickup has the higher output, but it seems like the Axis is a tad punchier than the BFR. Having said that, they both are out of this world! I play a lot f leads with my neck pickup, both of these guitars are amazing for that as they are just buttery smooth. Hope this helps some, I've never really given it allot of thought.

nice one, the axis is a killer guitar!!!!

I had always heard that, so I took a shot. I had tried the Sterling version in a local store and it was really nice. I'm stunned at how awesome this guitar plays! The pickups are a perfect match for my amp and style, and I love the trem on this guitar. I can't get it to go out of tune. Big Poppa and his company ROCK!!!!
