Hey ya'll!
Finally got my Majesty after 1.3 years of waiting :)
Guitar plays like a dream, but I've got 2 questions I'm wondering about.

1. (and the more critical one) I noticed that when I play with gain and switch pickups there's this small pop.
Is this something that is usually like that? My jp15 has no such thing .. (You can hear sort of the same pop here John Petrucci demos his Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty - YouTube at 5:50 +- so that's sort of assuring but.. well ..

2. My majesty came with the new matte black hardware but I did got the old hardware as well (was inside the case). Today after I came home and inspected it, I found that the bridge and bridge plate are actually for a 7 string guitar, but I've got a 6 string one. I had no idea the old hardware comes with the guitar as well.. was it a mistake that I got the hardware? or a mistake that I've got a 7 string one?

Thanks for the help (and sorry if there's any english faults as its not my first language :) )

Did you buy a brand-new 6-string Majesty, and they also gave you a 7-string bridge set as well..?

Wow!! =D

Congratulations of course and happy playing!!

Hi there, congrats on the guitar!

I can't hear the pop in the video? I have to say I've never noticed it on my Majesty. It must be very slight perhaps? Does it happen if you switch quickly, slowly or both?

Re the extra hardware, pretty sure that's a mistake but think of it as a bonus!

No pop with mine! I'm not sure why this would happen.

The extra hardware is a mystery and it's a shame they sent the 7 string instead of 6 equipment. The new matte black is better than the black chrome. My bridge cover started losing it's black colour after only a day of playing; lots and lots of similar complaints regarding the black chrome which is no doubt why EBMM stopped using it.

Hey!
So the pop is maybe more of a switching sound rather than actual pop.
I would correct my self to say that the pickup switching is slightly noticeable comparing to my jp15.. Perhaps its the game changer that cause it to act like that?
That's only noticeable with high gain.
I've asked a couple of mates I know have a majesty to record me their guitar and it seems to be the same but not sure cause it's hard to figure out from a phone video.

About the spare parts, the store actually contacted me to ask if I've found some extra hardware they ordered for a different customer so that's sums that up :)
They're sending someone to pick it up hehe
