Couldn't have just ONE EBMM! After drooling every time I pickup my Sabre HT (since late April), and having some inheritance money incoming - I did my research and got that Majesty I've been gassing over. I've had it a couple days, and I love it!

Was treated very well by Gabriel @ Miami Guitars 🎸 and I highly recommend them if you're in the market.

Thank you all very much! I'm just blown away every time I see it or play it. Mind boggling guitar, I'm very fortunate!

Congrats!
How do you find the lacquer ramping up to the frets? Does it bother you at all? It just feels weird under my fingers, personally.
Another Spice Melange (two of them actually 7 and 8-string) owner here...

Thank you!

The only potential playing problem is a riff I play with a simultaneous slide on the B and E that I have to ensure my finger is absolutely straight. But I'm thinking it's the 17" radius.

I have the same issue but to a lesser extent on my Ibanez RG. These are my only two really flat boards.

Hey Walmart,
thank you for the reply! What I meant is the clear coat lacquer that is ramping up to the top of the frets. It is unnoticeable when playing riffs, but I find gets to feel strange and rubbing off of sustain when playing bends and legato runs especially up the neck. It kind of grabs your finger tips, slows you down a bit, and rubs off of the note energy through the excessive contact area with your fingers.
My personal view is the MM got a little lazy with the fretboard finish on this model. So I thought may be other folks don’t notice?
Again, it is not the freatboard radius. Rather the clear coat overspray when the board is sprayed when the frets already installed and the finish is not leveled out.

Oh, I understood what you were saying, the "problem" I mentioned is just the only one I've had. They definitely lacquered the fook out of it :p, so far, with the little bit of legato I've done on it, its been good. Haven't noticed any lack of sustain, quite the contrary.

The whole guitar is a "fingerprint magnet" though, including the fretboard. I always wash my hands first and keep it wiped down, but everyone's hands are different. I'm probably just not fast enough to notice any hindrance induced by the boards finish!

The fretboard looks like one of those big long gooey strips of flypaper. Haha.

Very nice looking guitar with the woods and the way they are accented.

Lol, it does! Nice and rich and almost "flowing" depending on how the light hits it. I hate flies, so if it catches some, I'm all for it! :geek:

One of the cool things with it is the back. Even with all the plastic panels they went above and beyond with the different woods to make it awesome looking.
