It's not noticeably heavy. I haven't weighed it but it's not in the Les Paul weight class. Ballpark 8lbs., maybe(?) Not much more, if THAT.

Yea, I love it too. I actually expected it to be bigger. It's nowhere as huge as my '58 RI LP. It's big 'nuff for me though. I do like them big.

FYI, this replaces the black, regular Y2D I bought online a week or so ago. Somehow, that one arrived with a dead neck pickup (or switch/wiring). Anyway, the neck pickup wouldn't speak. Turns out for the best, as this is what I really wanted and it wound up costing me less. Go figure(?)

Man... this is the fourth time I've looked at this thread.

This is *exactly* the DarkLord I'd love to have - reverse headstock, BFR badge, it's got it all.

I'm just slobbering all over the screen here with jealousy!

Again, great find! I'm surprised all from the original run weren't sold already.
Mines from the second run which excluded the signature and BFR badge, but it's still a fabulous guitar (and I got a fabulous deal on it too...)

I was surprised as well. When I asked them to pull it in from an out of state store I assumed it would be one from the later run and I was unsure what the condition/shop wear would be. I didn't get my hopes up too high and was ready to refuse it if it didn't light my fuse. I was pleasantly surprised.
