My PDN Luke just arrived. All I can say is that this thing is much more beautiful in person than the couple pics I had seen. I am absolutely floored. Thanks to EBMM and Pete!

Beautiful! Nice to see some Luke's coming through!

Congrats! The waiting is getting very difficult but no doubt worth it!

very nice. I dream that it could be possible to buy one of these amazing maple neck and set it on my blue dawn LII.

Stunning! Unequivocally so ...

Question for AJ though: on every maple necked run of this PDN so far, how come the roasted maple fretboard is always lighter than the rest of the neck?

I don't think the fretboard is lighter than the back of the neck. You can see a difference between the headstock and the the rest of the neck though, only because the headstock does have a (satin?) finish.

Mine actually are the same - both front and back. It must just be the way the picture turned out from being near a window. I'd say in person it also appears slightly darker than the pictures made it out to be.

I'll try to get a few more pictures of the neck posted tomorrow.

Added more pics to the first post to show the neck a bit better. One is next to my Axis SS for comparison.
