No one likes reading so I will make this quick.

Cool Stuff:

  • Has PDN Mahogany Body with 2014 BFR Solar Mahogany Neck, making it a pure mahogany JP6
  • Has Stainless Frets. Back of neck was sanded down to make it super slick and make it fit the neck pocket easier
  • Sounds super tight. I trade my RW neck JP6 and another guitar for this one

Bad Stuff:

  • Was supposed to come with CL/LF combo but came with no pickups. It had Blackhawks in it that were removed and CL/LF were supposed to be in case but wasnt. FEDEX LOST THE PICKUPS IN TRANSIT AND DENIED MY CLAIM.
  • I had a C-Nailbomb already on order for my RW neck JP6, took 2 months to come in but I put it in my PDN and it sounds awesome! Neck pickup is Dimarzio Evo. First time using the pickup and it sounds great.
  • Pick height is a bit starnge, but it works. Neck pickup is sorta high and bridge pickup is sorta low. Even though it is like that it still works.
  • I plan on staying out of the guitar buying and trading market for a while. Im finding it harder to trust people anymore.

Overall I love this guitar. I like the sound and feel of the neck better than my RW JP6.

She's a beauty, Lucas.

At least you have your pickups of choice now. (I'm the guy who always sees the glass half full instead of half empty :) )
The mahogany body and neck is an awesome combination, so I think the neck swap is a good thing.

Enjoy!

I was going to change the bridge anyway but I would have left the LF in the neck. Thanks man!

Awkward internet moment...buyer meets seller on their favorite forum. Maybe you'll get those pickups after all? ;)

Lol I sent the pickups in the case wrapped in bubble wrap, and they opened the package and took them. Box was re-taped and stuff which really sucks, Fedex doesn't honor claims unless the box and internals are damaged though.

That is terrible. I would think you can lodge a criminal complaint, even if they won't honor it as a company claim. A crime has occurred and company policy doesn't negate your rights as a victim of that crime. I would follow through. Big business is not above the law (well, at least it shouldn't be ). This sickens me. Good luck.

Wait a minute, so who do you think opened the box and stole the pickups? I'm a little confused. FedEx or someone else?

I honestly don't believe anything was stolen, I think it was opened up for inspection at some point since the box had more tape on it that wasn't the one I had put on originally. And that they may have fallen off, it wouldn't make sense to only take the pickups as the yellow envelope was inside with the papers/keys/etc. And the trem bar was installed on the guitar since the case allows for that.

I think something happened during Transit, no way for us to tell for sure. But I called the office I sent it from to see if they had it or found it, they called up the places the package had gone and no dice. Claims didn't do anything because they have a checklist of things to hit before honoring any claim for any amount, and since the box didn't have damage nor the guitar they were not going to pay for anything :/

Good call Tollie, I'll look into that before doing anything but it'd be very helpful if that worked.
