After months of thinking it over, and saving some money, here we go.

As far as I can tell after a few days with it, the guitar is flawless except for one area. Where the nut is sitting, there is some white color coming through. It does not appear to have been damaged, it seems to be under the finish. Is this something I should be concerned about?

There is a similar spot on the other side, but it isn't as bad. It is the line where the nut is inserted into the neck.
It is really a minor thing. The instrument is outstanding. It just looks like the paint didn't quite get into the gap and they ended up finishing over it as-is. I just mildly concerned it might be a crack and wanted to run it past the forum members here. My guitar teacher also does setups and repairs. I will have him take a look at it tomorrow.

I've never seen that before, on these or any other guitar. My Majesty in Siberian Sapphire doesn't have that. Anyone else?

It looks like excess glue from the nut. If it worries you, contact customer service, that's why they're there.

My JP BFR has the same thing. It's under the finish. No big deal.

So my guitar teacher took a look at it tonight.
He was very impressed. He said the nut had a little excess glue and it was nothing to worry about. He said it was set up perfect from the factory. I think after noodling around on it a bit, that he was getting bit by the Majesty bug
I've been extremely happy with the guitar. The shape melts into your body. The guitar gets out of your way. The balance is perfect.
There are 2 features of the Majesty I feel have not been talked about enough. 1) The matte finish. Damn, it feels really good to the touch. It almost seems to resist smudges and fingerprints. You can pick the instrument up, play it and not feel like you have to spend 10 minutes with polish. After playing it, I give it a wipe down with a microfiber cloth for about a minute, and it looks ready to be photographed. 2) The ebony fingerboard. It just has a speed feel. I thought it had some kind of a polish job. Someone in a previous thread explained that the ebony was a very tight grained wood and it just seemed to be polished. In the end, the wood on there feels phenomenal.
You guys at EBMM have done an awesome job with the R&D and manufacturing of this guitar.
In about a year, I will start another NGD thread with a 7-string model

I totally agree with you. I got a 7 string Polar Noir and the finish is absolutely stellar, no fingerprints and no dirt marks after playing which is something that I really appreciate. The ebony also looks very different to the one on my JPXI: the ebony on the Majesty has almost a "rosewood finish" while the JPXI has a very deep black which in my opinion looks better.
The ergonomics are also really good and the weight of the guitar is incredible, really really light.
