NGD. Rosewood neck content.

Just got this yesterday. It's from what I can tell pretty rare. It's a limited production EBMM JP6 BFR w/ rosewood neck. Really it's just a regular JP6 (not a damn thing wrong with that) with a rosewood neck. Which makes a great guitar even better. The neck feels awesome and gives the guitar an awesome tone.

Look I am new to this type of discussions. I have never used a thread before. So I apologize. I have a Black Luke with an all rosewood neck with the BFR logo on the fretboard. The neck has a great feel to it. I use the Ernie Ball 9 gauges as recomended. I have been running it through my new Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III amp. For some reason, the Luke just dosen't have the sound I expected. i keep going back to my 1990 Strat Plus with the Lace sensor pickups. It is maybe the EMG pickups on the Luke. Any suggestions. alot of people on You Tube seem to be getting some great sounds. maybe its my amp.

That JP looks awesome. Love that it doesn't have the piezo too, that must be a rare guitar.

Chill yours is awesome. Love that color. So what is the deal with these? Seems like a few of you guys own or have owned them. But elsewhere they seem almost non-existent. Are they simply just JP6's with rosewood necks? Or are there any other differences? Can't find info anywhere. Except for one guy on E-Bay that has one in Mystic Dream with a piezo and wants almost $4000 for it. I'm sure he's hit the crackpipe a few times

Yeah I joined this forum back when I was a Caparison nut. I have since gotten rid of those. Truth be told I am a PRS guy now, but I traded on of my PRS for this guy and I'm happy with the trade for sure.
