Got this for a fair price from ebay (a shame what silos go for, compared to the Signatures)
# 94349, Dan says DOB Nov 24 1993 (Thanks, Dan!)
The seller said "Rolls Burgundy". Can someone confirm? On music-man.com Rolls Burgundy looks much darker?!?
I love the feel and handling, it´s great. I´m always amazed how tiny and small this EBMMs seems to be. It has a great, well played neck, the overall condition is absolutely mint. The only thing that may not be stock is the nut. But this one is okay.
Soundwise it has to be tested with the band. Sounds a bit vintage (low output). Nice sound though, especially bridge/middle and middle, but I´ll see, if it works in the band. On SCs I prefer a bit more output. That´s why I asked about the Singlecoils in the other thread yesterday.
I choose this one and not a Silo Spec because of the fair price and because I love the Silo shape so much more than the Silo Spec (although the position of the Neck-SC is not that good as on the Silo Spec).
Blablabla, now the pics:
please note the recessed neckplate
