A quick review after un-boxing a couple of hours ago and playing for about an hour.

I am new to EB guitars so much of this may be review for most of you.

Case: Nicely form fitted and light

Set up: Wow very nicely set up right out of the box. Tuned it up and waited 30 minutes or so. I didn't get any fret buzz.

Fit/Finish: Really nice. The Vincent Blue is a super color in person. Frets appear to be perfect. I *suspect* that the neck while very smooth in the matte, will get smoother with play.

Trem: Wow - this is firm with only 3 springs (Jazzmasters generally being my point of reference). Does nice dive bombs and springs right back. I think its a testament to the set up and the design that even trying big 'metal' type dives it went right back in tune. Actually, i didn't have to re-tune the whole time.

Tuners: Again, very nice. I don't know exactly, but these must be pretty high ratio.

Neck: Comfortable profile, round-ish. The frets are just 'there' if that makes sense. Not once did I ever wonder what type they were.

Pups: Wow - these are the deal. I haven't run through the pedals yet but these are clear, articulate, and paired with a tone control with a useful sweep give a really good range of tones. Turning the treble all the way down still gives a decent sound without going into 'mud'. I have to assume that they will sound good with overdrive and or fuzz.

Controls: Volume and Tone controls give a useful sweep and are dead quiet. No hiss or crackle etc. The pickup switching and the 3 pup set up gives a huge array of options. As of now - the all 3 setting is my favorite.

The guitar is light and well balanced. If you are used to the Fender style its just a natural change.
