I picked up this guitar in a pawn shop for a steal, pickups are worth as much as I paid. I am not sure the guitar has ever been played. I can not find a mark on it, soft case is also perfectly clean. Did a little set up and polished the frets and it plays really well. And I am liking the pickups, very good sounds. Very surprised at the full voice of the guitar , i normally play a carvin set neck shorter scale and the AX30 sounds much deeper fuller, and a band mate said at practice the old guitar sounded twangier which it shouldn't. It will have its first gig in 2 weeks.

How are those compared to their USA made cousins? I`v seen the Sterling Silos at ridiculously low prices. Squire prices. But never played one. I get suspicious when their priced that low, I`v played some Squires and they have all been horrible. If the Sterling AX is close to the real thing I would like to get one, I love how they look, and I love the EBMM unfinished necks.
