Well this really isn't the norm for me.The only EBMM guitars that i've ever owned were the Petrucci models mostly BFR's.I've had about 9 or 10 of them and they are great but i wanted to explore more of what musicman has to offer and I saw my open with the Steve Morse Darklord that keith was selling.I noticed it was about one month since he bought it and was wondering why he was selling so fast BUT he told me it's brand new as he really didn't even play it much etc..Well i got it today and he was so right it is brand new and plays and sounds and looks AMAZING!!!
The neck is just ridiculous with the amount of flame and in NYC words it feels like Buda!
Thanks Keith for making the transaction go so smoothly. And yeah,EBMM kills the competition!

That guitar is amazing. As for Keith buying and selling awesome axes.... well that's just what he does :) I just happen to also own a very special Morse that Keith once owned.

Damn, that one shoulda been a keeper. Congrats to you for scoring that. She's a purty one! I wish I had plenty of cash on reserve to pick up Keith's sells as he scores some of the nicer guitars.

Just out of curiosity why is the neck pickup upside down? I'm sure Morse specified that it be that way. Just wondering if there is a tonal reason.

I myself also sold some "one offs" The Petrucci BFR Silverburst and the olive/Gold JP7 w/Rosewood neck.guitars come and go(for the most pt)This guitar just seems like a different beast!I love the neck and the transition between switching the pickup selector on the fly seems so smooth in tone. The neck pickup is really warm yet it has just the right amount of mid's to cut through.
It's the honeymoon phase and i like what i'm hearing so far.
Also got my eye on a olive/gold LIII

Thanks. It's a great guitar. I have actually been looking at trading it for a JP7, but I have actually put it up for trade a couple of other times and end up changing my mind a couple of days later.
