Siddius,

First - yowza! I have one identical ordered and appreciate the preview pics! :)

Second - I see you're in Bloomington, Swwetwater is (long) driving distance - I woulda hit the road to have it in hand quicker!! :)

Third - were you at the Morse/LaRue presentation at Sweetwater last Tuesday? Again, (long) driving distance and it was a great show!!! :)

Doh - just realized it has a maple fretboard - I went for rosewood.

You - maple fretboard on a Morse is pretty unusual! :)

Nice.
But not sure i'm feeling the white PG.
It is odd seeing these guitars like the morse and luke with Maple necks.

Man... that color combination is just awesome. I'm not a fan of the SM model but damn, that is truly beautiful. Congrats.

Looks awesome! Love how it's mostly blue and the neck/fretboard looks cool. Nice score!

Thanks for all of the great words. The festival was stormed out a couple of sets early, so I have had a little bit of time to check the guy out. The neck is as smooth as a baby's bottom, and after a restringing (.009's) and some tweeking, I have got it playing pretty close to how I want it. I had some electronics changed before I got it, so I am not yet %100 sure if the switching all works as it should (500K volume pot, Evo 1 in the bridge is not attached to the tone knob).

I can't speak for the sound as of yet. It has good unplugged resonance and snap. I am running through a Kemper, so the setting that soars with my Silhouette might sink with the Morse. So far it doesn't sound bad, but I need to find some amp models that really shine with it before I throw anything up (maybe an Engl Morse or Ritchie Blackmore).

I might play it at the Bloomington Metal Fest next weekend, in which case, I will try to supply some video footage.

Thanks again, everyone
