I’ve had several EBMM’s over the years but I’ve always wanted a Luke. Found a great deal on a Luke II at a local store and just couldn’t resist. Appears to be all original and in phenomenal shape for a guitar that dates to October 25th, 2000.

Not typically a fan of EMG’s, but this guitar sounds fantastic. Never had a guitar with a “v” shaped neck, but it is surprisingly comfortable. The black sparkle also looks great. Been a fan of Luke’s forever, so it’s nice to finally have one of his guitars.

Damn, I love black sparkle! Congrats, man.
I have never liked emgs either or active pickups in general. When I had luke 2, I was surprised how nice single coils were, but emg 85 in bridge position was just weird for me.

I’ve thought about putting a 57 in bridge, but the 85 doesn’t bother me too bad. It’s been growing on me.

That black sparkle finish is slick. Very nice score! Extra nice that it's all original. I'd also like to snag a Luke someday.

With inflation being out of hand, and having had a most fantastic experience earlier this year buying a used EBMM guitar, I am always looking for a nice find like the one you just grabbed. That looks like a great daily player.

Hell yeah, that's beautiful, congrats!

Many people have found that EMG 60/80/85 benefit greatly from an 18v mod using two 9v batteries, etc.
