I'm lovin that tone. Whatever distortion he's using is giving him that edge. I run my Bongo through a Sansamp Bass Driver and it gets a nice nasty, edgy aggressive sound very similar to that video. There's something about a little overdrive that brings the Bongo's sound to the forefront. I had a Rick, and while it could get some nice over-driven tones, at the end of the day it was a one trick pony best suited for classic rock. You should also try out some slap tones with a slight drive on the Bongo. Its like magic.

He could have probably edited out that intro for the cover...

Very cool vid though...he obviously knows how to play! The Bongo is an absolute tone monster, definitely capable of producing tones like that (with a little help from outside sources, of course!)

Only thing is I would have probably added a little bit more low end, just a little bit, to really be able to feel sections like the chorus where he's riding the low B. Still good though, and it is just a cover haha.

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing!
