I'm all weepy and sad now.

I've never sold a SUB and Ben was going to be my living, breathing experiment.

Still, nice bass. (Never been a fan of that color, but hey, you know what they say about opinions.)

So we see Ben go from, "Give me that Stingray!" to "Yes, I'll trade my Stingray for a Bongo because I guess I'm not really a Stingray guy" to "Look at my second Stingray!"

I love this place.

Oh my GOD this thing is HEAVY.
Thats okay, when you play fretless your allowed to sit as long as you have a look of deep concentration while you are playing. People will then think you are artsy...

I'm clearing out all the old heavy stuff. Began 5 years ago with my wife. Next went clunky old combos and all the metal neck Kramers. But I knew from the start that the SR4FL would remain an exception.

A great strap is quite important. A stool or chair helps, but a stool is better and standing up is best, cuz with an FL, there's a lot of body english. I'm not sure the body english actually goes directly into your touch where hands-meet-ax. I feel more like it goes into mind, spirit, and attitude where it has a definite effect on what you play and how well you play it. It even has an effect on how you hear your bandmates, which again will affect what you play and how.

PS, if you have to sit much, sit on the corner of a cabinet. It looks way hipper than a chair or a stool. It's the difference between sittin on a Harley and sittin on a porch glider.
