You know, I thought about getting one more bass in the future, originally a SR4 HH, but I just might opt for the Big AL bass. When are they scheduled to hit the shelves?

I must admit at first when I saw the Big Al, I and I am sure a few others thought that it was a case of the emperors new clothes was in order as the initial reaction was, "that is a DAMN ugly bass!"

But I must admit it really has grown on me and I was a little quick in judging, so fair play EBMM, whilst not at first you got me (and nothing is as sweet as a ray anyway imho) got me you have. GAS is induced

Wow they look incredible, specially in the angle shot where you can see the contour. I think the HH5 bass might just be my dream bass, I'd dying to hear it.

Too sweet. I'll be interested to hear "how they sound" reports on the HHS vs. HH etc. (Though the report that Tony Levin was blown away w/ the HHS is pretty persuasive!)

Those 25th anniv. basses are absolutely gorgeous!
Looking at those I can feel GAS coming on (even though I'm really happy with my Sterling). One day...one day...
However, I'm sorry, but I really can't get into the Big Al.
