Well, I liked the way the SR4 sounded alright, but the feel of it wasn't doing it for me. I would pick up my fretless and I could tell there was something missing. I decided that if I came across a White SR5 or a Stealth Bongo 5, I would try to make a deal. Miraculously Tom F was wanting to trade his Stealth 5 for a maple board dual pickup SR4 and a deal was born.
I must say, after playing with this Stealth, I really feel like I made the right decision for me. The way the Bongo lays against me is just so much more comfortable. I prefer the sound and output more and to top it off, its one of the lightest MM 5 strings I have ever picked up (weighs around .5 to 1 pound less than the Stingray).
