Tristan,

Awesome groove, my friend! I think this is my favorite thing you've posted yet.
Really soulful performance!

OK deep breath !!!

Tristan, you know how much I love your playing - I'm a huge fan of your jeff beck stuff and your Bluesey stuff.
That track sounded so great so atmospheric - but then I was hit with one of your
"thousand notes a second" passages. - It's just me but you don't have to do it on everything you do - you have so much great feel you don't need to resort to that on every song.
Just the other day somebody posted a Luke clip on You Tube and he played with so much feel yet so few notes - reminded me of the guitarist that inspired me in my youth - Paul Kossoff.

Anyway I love it when you post stuff - I wish I had a fraction of your talent come on over to Cardiff and let's have a beer !! :D

Spud,

I understand and sort of agree what you're saying, but at the same time, it's what makes his music recognizable as Tristan's. Kinda like BB Kings vibrato or EVH's finger tapping.

Nice work Tristan! Very moody stuff. :)

Yeah Foggy it's a good point.

I saw a young guy at a jam session the other week, apparantly played with Ozzie.
Man I don't think I've heard or seen anybody play sooo fast it was scary.
After 30 minutes or so people were just fed up with it and he'd "lost" his audience.
He just didn't need to do it all the time.

I hear a lot more in Tristan's playing - his rythym work is also a delight!
