Well,

I don't know this guys name, but watching TV this week, I caught some footage of the Night of the Proms (20 concerts in a row here in Belgium) with a big orchestra and every year different big shots (Joe Cocker, Status Quo, Zucchero, and many more have joined in in the past) that join in to do some of their best known songs. The band playing with the orchestra is under the direction of John Miles. Now, the other guitar player (I guess it's the guitar player of the John Miles band??) was ripping it up on a white sparkle Luke and he sounded incredible. The bass player was giving it away on a teal green Stingray.

Just wanted to share this with you guys. If anyone knows who these guys are, let me know...

Cheers, Tom.

Hi Tom,
I've been to the proms in 2003 & 2004 (starring TOTO and Joe Cocker) and it really kicked ass :)
Check out htto://www.notp.com for more info...
The guitar player is Laurie Wisefield, a former (83-85) member of Wishbone Ash.

I planned to go 2 years ago when TOTO performed on the NOTP, but I really don't like the Il novecento (or whatever it is called) orchestra. Also I don't really dig the pop-classical music combination so I decided not to go. I'll wait till toto gets back to Holland (in March)

Us Europeans are lucky TOTO and lucious are still pretty popular here :D
