The Benji's been discontinued man. They've said that they'll still make guitars for BM, but the models not available anymore.

Come to think of it....Joe Walsh must be one of the few top guitar players happy to be seen playing someone else's signature model (I guess we exclude Les Pauls!!)

The fact is the Benji Model had its heyday and the sales have slowed to a point where we decided to discontinue it. Benji is fine and continues to play the guitars on stage...

He still has a few early Silhouette Specials we sent him that he uses in the studio....

No Benji BFR guitar is on the Horizon. We still can make the Benji and if he needed another or JOE or any other High profile artist we could do it a heartbeat....

I do not think Joe pays that much attention to who's name is on the guitar...his tech Mark Reis explained that he saw it picked it up and liked the sound/resonance and brought it home.

Joe is like that with a lot of guitars and has always expressed a liking to EBMM over the last 15 years or so....Nice for us.

I can agree with him. I got to play one recently, and was pleasantly surprised at how well it played and sounded. It's now on my wish list of guitars to get my hands on soon.

There you go Hunter....all you need to do is raise your musical profile and your wish will be granted.

Personally I liked the Benji concept....thought it had a nice clean simplicity about it. Didn't like it enough to warrant removing the 2 s/cs from my SS mind!
