I have been holding out announcing this officially until I had set up some form of replacement, but I guess tentatively Robbie from GC in Dallas is on the forums, and I am trying to get my friend Mike Russell from El Toro to get on to help you guys with your EBMM needs from Guitar Center. Mike should be joining soon, and I believe he went on a factory tour recently that he might like to share his experience on. But to make a long story short, GC and I have parted ways. Always having been a boutique pedal guy, I decided it was time to venture off and do my own thing specializing in that field. I have enjoyed helping everybody out that I have been able to help. Working Bass Player Live was an awesome experience. It was great meeting Sterling, Scott, Brian, and the rest of the Ball family, along with Glen and Derek and the rest of the EBMM staff. Ultimately I had a dream in my head and I felt I needed to chase it now, or let it go. I can still forward you to a GC associate that will help you since I did leave on good terms, but I am now wrapped up in my own site at www.dawnoftheshred.com so let me know if you need anything, and wish me good luck!

Congrats on working towards your dream!

Best wishes. We all need to remember that our jobs can be our true vocations. A bad day at work can actually be better than a good day fishing, when we love our job...or hate fishing ;-).

Hey zombi,

Thanks for your assistance locating my Ball a few months back and best wishes for you and your family. I hope your new endeavor is a huge success!

I trust that you will continue to hang out here and share your enthusiasm for all things EBMM.

Best,

Hey man good luck! Follow your dream and let it bring you and your family much success. You know, I'm already thinking of a nice delay pedal as soon as I figure out how to pay for this move...

Zombi Good luck my friend and you better not leave here!

I will definitely still be around, and I will still come say hi and hang out at NAMM!

Thanks guys for all the well wishes!

And Paranoid, I don't currently have a storefront yet, but I am working on getting an industrial office space for demos for now and hope to be in a storefront by the end of the year (Hopefully off 4th street in the arts area). I am doing demos by appointment currently. I also currently do the Musicians Swap Meet that happens every 2 months in Huntington and will be at the Santa Monica Guitar Show in August.

Best of luck Zombi ! I'm really happy for you. It takes a lot of courage to make that first step into starting your own business. Your trying to get us new GC contact people is, "over and above" the call of duty. Thanks! :D
