no more rain for me!!

So far the summer has been the worst in years.Rainfall is at its highest ever,I cant remember when we had a day of sunshine.Everybody seems on a downer due to the lack of sun.In the last 4 months we had 3 days when it did not rain.

So I am off to sunny Alcudia For two weeks with my Family

I cant wait,I leave next Tuesday but will finish up in work on friday so I have the weekend free before we head off.Its our first family holiday with our daughter so I am really looking forward to spending 2 weeks with my girls.

It does mean I wont be getting a fanboy t shirt but we just got to get out of the rain for a few weeks.

Ironically I think the last bits of Himicane Dean are causing it to rain in the desert. It's sunny at the moment here in SLO, but It had been raining with lightning and thunder for about 10 hours now. I told my boss about it down in the dez cause we were having intermittent power problems in SLO. He said the same thing was happening in Coachella.

At least it's a dry rain

Wow. We haven't seen any rain in a good bit here. We finally got some yesterday but it's been very scarce here.

Yeah .. it "spit" on us here this morning. Rain in the desert is like a frozen In N Out burger .... such a tease! Waaahhh
