Hello All,

Recently, I had the chance to play a Silhouette and decided I wanted one, however I also wanted a guitar with a Floyd.

As luck would have it this 1995 Silo showed up on Ebay in "excellent condition". The guitar isn't perfect but still very good. A little TLC and a setup and she was good to go.

Even though this guitar was from 1995, alot of the elements from today's guitar are in there and the playability is excellent.

To be honest, I was expecting sort of a relic since it was 14 years old and have nowhere near the playability of today's EBMM.

Boy was I wrong. This guitar can stand with any of the newer guitars I have and I am thoroughly convinced that EBMM guitars have been great from the start, from any year........

Nice! I'd love a Silo with a Floyd myself, mainly so I could put a D-Tuna on it and be able to drop tune easily.

Does that guitar have an unfinished neck or a glossed neck?

Nice Mike ! Dig the Pearloid Rio Grande's

Yeah, the Rio Grande's are good pickups. Never heard of them before but this guitar had them.

Not sure yet, but I am still partial to Dimarzio's and a Tone Zone and an Area '67 may find it's way onto the this guitar.....

This guitar has an unfinished neck. Not sure if the headstock was supposed to have a gloss finish, if it did then over time it must have faded. There is some sort of finish on the headstock with the cut line just under the nut with the rest of the neck unfinished.

Forgot to add to, as a nice bonus that I wasn't expecting, the Floyd floats and it is routed underneath.......
