Hi everybody, I have a StingRay 5, I love my bass, for sure is my best sounding bass but I'm having some problems with pickup noise or circuit noise, I don't know what it is, as a matter of fact, I'm not sure if that's a pickup problem, a circuit problem or even a switch problem not to mention a jack problem? the fact is that is not a big noisy situation, just a little bit and once I touch the strings with my hands the noise is gone but, I would like to know if that is a "standard noise" in a StingRay or if it's my instrument.
Thank you in advance for the answer.

Both of my StingRay5s are super quiet pertaining to noise.

Have you tried different guitar cables ?
Maybe it's you amp?
Does it happen in different locations
When have you changed your battery in the SR5 last ?
I doubt it's your bass, but if it is, then it's probably just a poor ground connection.
