What does BFR mean?

I guess I could let my imagination run wild and come up with things that might even curl Jack's toes. OTOH, this is a family joint.

Welcome Ken. How's the Bongo treating you? I saw your brain teaser on the KCC but didn't want to spoil it. It stumped me at first because it looked like a chunk of metal laying on something.

Hey Ken!

I've been remiss in greeting you properly.

"Hey Ken!"

I think I've now fulfilled my official duties.

For those of you who might be curious, Ken has been around for a long time and has been known to be a fan of some "other" brand(s) but is now officially amongst us with his recent addiction to a BoNgo.

Be gentle with him. He'll be buying more sooner or later, I expect.

Jack

Welcome Ken,
Its an interesting forum to hang out in, rarely dull.
Just keep your close on if must pose with your bass. Some of us still haven't recovered from Psycho Ward's scantily clad pictures.

"Thank you, M'Lord!" He said, doffing hat and bowing deeply with a flourish.

Hey! I have both of my California monsters here in my office, at the ready. And they both get played too! They just seem to make 'em good out here!

Oh my...

That's a metal picture that I just can't deal with. Not so much Psycho, but me.

Brad!

The Bongo is treating me well, thanks.

I figured I'd pull a Cajun Boy puzzler with it, but they just couldn't get outside the box. Oh well. Jim figures that Dave's gonna cut back my allowance after this.

I'm so bad.

Phil, Psycho, and everyone else: Thanks for the welcome. I promise to be my usual wacky self from time to time. At least until Jack slaps some sense into me.

Speaking of that, Jack. Remember you said something about me needing a 1H Bongo to go with the HHP? Might not happen for a bit.

The Baker clan went out to a high grade dinner at Red Robin (I had the salmon chips), then slid down to Sam Ash in Westminster CA. We literally fell into a super deal on a used high end trumpet for my younger son, Justin. It's a Bach Stradivarius from the mid 90's in excellent condition, with OHSC and all the goodies. Some poor sot needed money and had to unload his axe. Anyway, you can't find these like this for less than $1400 and they had it for sale at $909. A quick call to a pro player sealed it for us and it came home. Beautiful tones. We played a little "Land Of Make Believe"
