I figured it was the Super Sport because of the binding. From what you said you paid it was more than what they quoted me over the phone. I had them take some pictures and send them to me before I left for Nashville and it looks SSSWWWEEEEEETTT!!!!!

Yah, I've got the Sport on deposit and I drop that fact to my wife last night and she didn't say "No", but she didn't say yes either. I have a very strong feeling that it's going to living with me very soon, but I have a feeling also that I'm not going to get it until my Bday next month.

I've never bought anything from Royal before I know it's not far from where OrangeChannel lives so he might be able to shed some light on them and there set up. I know that he told me they really don't deal and I was working them, but they wouldn't budge a bit.

I'll keep you informed I should know by Friday whether or not this bad boy is mine. I also have one in limbo some place else, it's got a matching head stock, but it's a BD thru and thru.

I don't know, I guess it could be a greasy, fried smell. All I know is that since opening the case and being taken back by the smell, I've noticed that smell on two other occasions since then.

I smell the smelly smell of something that smells smelly... Damn I guess I pay attention a little more than I realize to what the kids are watching... :)

I sprayed the case with Febreeze and left it open for a couple of days and it's getting better and last night I poured some of the Birchwood Casey wax on a rag and closed it up in the case. I'm hoping it ends up smelling like my Petrucci case when you open it.

There's nothing better than that fresh from the factory new guitar smell.

Oh well it's really not that big of a deal, the guitar itself is fine.

Methinks there's a chinese restaurant nearby from what I recall so they might have some residue from that, also yeah they don't cut deals, things are on the expensive side and at times they're charging more than the bigger stores for an item that's been discontinued for years....some other shady stuff had been mentioned to me as well but as long as you get your merch, that's what counts right?

Yeah, I probably paid a little more for it, but I wasn't going to argue. It was worth it to me, I wanted the Blue Dawn.
