Might even make a decent backup with some good pickups.

PRSPlayer said:I'm pretty sure you'll see purple as well as all of the other colors they had offered on the original MM1. There is currently (1) amber and (1) sunburst model on eBay for $259. (bin). I'm sure you'll see many more as they have just been shipped to their distributors this past week. Even though I'm not a fan of recessed Floyds, I can't think of a better deal on a Floyd equiped guitar in that price range.
Per OLP, the Floyd model will be available in amber, sunburst, and black.
Could someone explain to me why, if I love my EVH (which I do) would I find an OLP more attractive to play than any other budget model?
I understand why EBMM fans would like the looks of the OLP's. They look just like the originals.

Wouldn't it have been more cost effective to simply upgrade the existing MM1's with a flush mount Floyd and locking nut?![]()
I haven't seen this model in black, but the amber and sunburst look pretty nice.
Please do post a review when you get yours.![]()
