Hello im new(please be nice  )

Anyway i have bought some Not Even Slinkies for my Kramer Vangaurd with the intention of tuning it to Drop C (or CGCFAD to be correct  ) now it has a liscenced Floyd Rose and i'm aware that i will have to pay to get it setup to support this size of string and i was just wondering whether anyone could give me some suggestions about putting thicker strings on floyd roses, and whether it will be able to cope with them

The Factory gauge is .09-042. moving up to 13.-56 will provide more tension but tuning to c should be fine. Your tech should adjust the truss rod and make sure he checks the nut slots. Since the strings are thicker in diameter they will sit off the metal nut a little higher. If he has any questions please contact our repair department(Jon Smith) 866-823-2255 237

Well I can tell you one thing, he'll definately have to tighten down the claw screws to compensate for the tension...oh and everyone here is always nice...welcome (my first post in the string section, hey I kinda like it here)
