My JP6s tone knob doesnt do a damn thing. There is NO change in sound whether its on 0 or 10 or with any toggle switch setting.

Sounds like an issue with the pot-I get a very noticeable change in tone when I manipulate mine.

Yea when it use to work I could almost do a wah-wah type thing with it.

Open 'er up. Probably just a loose wire and easy to fix.

had the same prob with my AL opened it up and Voila the wire was off a little solder and shes as good as new

Well I opened it up and there was a short white wire that wasnt connected to the lug on the tone. Im thinking that I might just leave it as I dont use the tone at all. But I do wonder if that changes the tone or output at all?

I am trying to remember the wiring of a JP in my head after a couple of Corona's, but I bleeb the short wire goes directly across from pot to pot, the outer lugs. If you email me at [email protected] I will double check for you. Even if you don't use the tone pot, you don't want a loose wire all up in there do ya?
