I recenty bought this SR5 L 03752

The problem is the nut is so high the strings are 4/32 off the 1st fret. The original owner played it right-handed and used a different nut. I don't think it was installed correctly. See pictures. What is needed to get strings lower at first fret. Should be .22 feeler guage right?
Also can u tell me DOB?

The 3 slots for the smallest strings seem to be verry wide too. The string should fit in there perfectly. The previous owner propably did some work on that himself or a cheap replacement part... best to contact ebmm for a new nut and have a professional lithier install it for you....
