I took my camera with me on my weekly trip to my Mom's house. I missed the peak by a few days, but still sort of pretty.

Here's a shot of the back of our house in Elk Creek, VA; that's the family farm over the hill. Beth drove tractors and milked cows there as a kid.

oooooo nice! Love the colors. :D The first one kinda looks surreal, wot with the vivid green and then those hazy blue and yellow purple hills - er.. I mean.. :p And that second-to-last one is just plain awesome!

Thanks for sharing. :D

Man, that takes me back. My wife and I just moved from Virginia, and those pics remind me of how much I miss that state.

Here in Alabama, everything's brown.

Great pics.

Oh, man! Those shots are beautiful! Here in Louisiana, everything is either green or dead, and everything is flat. The topography here has no personality.

I'm glad you like the pictures, I shot them out the car door window on my way from my Moms house to my house in Elk Creek, about a 10 mile trip. When it snows, and it still snow's up there, I'll take some more for ya.

One of the very few things I miss about touring is not having the elongated fall season. Seems like I would always be up in New England doing gigs early in the fall and see leaves turning there and watch the colors come south.

Nice landscapes ; and everything seems so quiet.

I need a break "à la campagne", to rest a litlle.

Thanks.
