Man, talk about being hell and gone from civilization!

Here's where I worked all last week!

And this didn't inspire any confidence!!

Nor did this....

Cell phone? What cell phone? Shortwave only! The boss makes a call...

Oh yeah, we were packing heat!

So, between cactus, snakes (16!), coyotes, gila monsters, dirt, jack rabbits, and religious cults.......It was a fun week!

No guys with Bushmasters....

However, here's a few pics of our escorts....

The guys on the far right of the pic both had AR-15s out trained on the "compound".

There was some big arse weapon on a mini tri-pod on top of one of the SUVs.....You can kinda make it out..

At the end of the day......

13 Sheriff's deputies, 3 dogs, and more weapons than I had seen since I was in the military......

I figure that in order to get at these guys, they are gonna have to go all Janet Reno Waco Style on them....Sad really...

we just received 45 cm of snow in Montreal... With winds peaking at 100 KM/h. We are at around 350 cm this winter....
