I have owned so many guitars over the past 31 years...everything one can think of...Gibson Custom Shop, Fender Custom Shop, Rickenbacker, D'Angelico, Schecter, EB Music Man, RS GuitarWorks, King Bee, Epiphone, PRS...and the list goes on and on; matter of fact I'm even published due my G.A.S. (Guitar Aquisition Syndrome). That being said, I've recently been blessed by GOD regarding the acquisition of EB MM Luke III, bhodi blue with full rosewood neck, HH config. It goes without saying that my tube amp habit has been just as addictive...everything from Bogner, Fender, Dr. Z., Carr, Marshall...well, you get the picture. My current and most favored rig consists of the following: EB MM Luke III, Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb, Keely Compressor, TC Electronics Spark, Fulltone OCD. My particular mark of pleasure is this...does it inspire me to play, experiment, compose. As all forum members know by now; it's not what name is on the headstock or on the amp, or the pedals...it's the combination or the recipe if you will, of all parts that= tone. I can honestly say, that after all these years and a whole lotta $$$...I've attained a peace that is indescribable. My search ends here. Thank you EB MM for all your efforts...well done.

Welcome aboard!

One thing you may notice round here is the new member initiation rite, which we lovingly call...

"Your guitar does not exist without pictures" :)

And yes, I can totally dig your feelings. I have no major wish for another guitar. My Silhouette Special is 'home'.

LIII came with Rosewood neck? Was this the last RW offering to PDN dealers?

Welcome to the Forum!

I too have found that the LIII HH speaks to me in ways that other guitars do not. But there is always room for others. ;)

Similar story here. I started with EB MM copy (OLP MM-1) back when I wanted to play like EVH. Though I haven't spent more than $10K all this time, I could be close. Now I live in guitar bliss with my L3 also in Bodhi Blue. I wish I could get in on the new PDN offering and have a Luke reissue!
