Forgot to mention, finally dropped the hammer on one of these....little pricey, but well made, super easy to use, and most importantly, sounds fantastic. I think it sounds even better than with my 10' Mogami gold cable. Really love the freedom as well.

I have one, great unit and have never had a problem with it. The digital conversion of the data is much more accurate than analog and thus the virtual lack of tone loss.

The only frustration I've had with mine is the goofiness around firmware updates. Good piece of gear overall.

From my Line 6 experience, every product they offer has some insanity involving firmware.
Good point. If I didn't have a Pod XTL, I would've been in a similar situation trying to upgrade my Variaxes.

I have a G30 that I am happy with. I have done A/B test with it and quality cables are hear no loss either and the freedom (and safety of not tripping on them, LOL) is worth the $$$.....
