I'm curious about this myself as I will be ordering a bass soon.

Please vote and if you could post model and colors, maybe certain colors are made more often than others?

Brandt told me last week that I should be expecting mine sometime next month. That would put it at a little over two months... and I don't see that option :p

It's a Cabernet Pearl Bongo 6 HS with a black pearloid pickguard. Can't wait for it to get here! I'll officially become a Bongoloid! :D

I didn't think they could turn them out that fast, I have heard of 6-7 months which is why I biased towards higher months.. Sorry I'd vote for three if I wee you

I have no exact figures but I've seen anywhere from 2-5 months posted on the forum here.

I don't remember the exact time Nefertiti took (singleH blank-plank Bongo in Egyptian Smoke) but it arrived later than originally promised due to delivery by butt rocket slowing things down.

is it still too soon? ;)

I ordered two at the same time................

The Electric Blue Stingray 5 H showed up in about three months................The BFR (Rosewood Neck) Blue Ice Stingray 4 HS ended up taking about 5 months, or so! All seven (so far) EBMMs have been worth the wait! :)

My bass took 3-4 months (Depending on the date I ordered it, I only remember the month now.) I'm thinking it was 3.5 months, Mid August to The 22nd of December (It was lost in the shop for a while I think...)

On a similar note, I was wondering if anyone knew what the Born On Date we get in the Serial Numbers Thread is? Is that the day it leaves SLO, the day it is first put together, the day the last piece is ready, the day it is set up or tested or something completely different?

The date of birth is when it has been fully assembled and the next step is to ship it out to the dealer.

Well, for export it takes an additional 2-3 months while the price doubles. Kidding! It is entirely up to how the dealer/import company works out the details with Ernie Ball. Generally we have our instruments shipped out twice a week.
