You guys see this?

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 28, 2005) – More than 160 Ernie Ball Music Man forum members had an absolute blast at the first ever Ernie Ball Music Man Open House September 16 & 17 in San Luis Obispo, CA, according to several enthusiastic attendees. The event celebrated the rising popularity of the Ernie Ball forum, featured on the Ernie Ball website, www.ernieball.com/forum.

“This was the best weekend of my life. I can’t forsee anything short of my wedding day being able to top the love, excitement and joy I experienced during the Open House Weekend,” said Arin Sarkissian of Northern California. A forum member since 2004, he has played Music Man instruments for the past five years, owning a Sterling, Stingray, John Petrucci 6, and an Axis Super Sport. “Ernie Ball Music Man is a company built upon heart, vision and execution! Genius!”

Company President and “Big Poppa” of the Ernie Ball Forum, Sterling Ball welcomed members during the two-day event, which was open to forum members only. The forum was started in June 2002, and now boasts over 3,500 members discussing everything from music to current events.Throughout the weekend, forum members and guests enjoyed fabulous meals, including a welcome dinner at the San Luis Obispo Country Club; played music with Ernie Ball Music Man endorsed artists; participated in a roundtable discussion (pictured right) with Sterling Ball, the Music Man design staff, and an artist panel including Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, John Petrucci, Tony Levin, Vinnie Moore, Dave LaRue, John Ferraro, and many more; and also toured the Music Man factory (pictured above). As a special treat on Saturday night, everyone enjoyed a concert that spotlighted Music Man artists who played some of their favorite tunes (pictured right).

Said member Charles Elliott, “The Open House was a truly amazing, first class experience. I was able to see some of the best guitarists and bassists in the world play in an awesome private concert just for the forum members. And I got to see the factory – that tour was a dream come true for many reasons.”

Another forum member and weekend participant Scott Pett of Atlanta, GA, plays Music Man instruments exclusively. “Ernie Ball does it right,” he said. “I’ve always been treated wonderfully by everyone there, answering technical questions etc. As well, the instruments speak for themselves. High quality, great sounding, comfortable tools for the trade.”

Yep, I saw it the other day. Didn't know if I had missed mention of it over here.

I think I sat with the guy from Atlanta that was quoted. He's not a board member yet, but he seems to be pretty tight with some of the company guys. He owns 3 of those Mr. Horsepower guitars.
